Pumpkin Time
We visited a friends farm and the boys picked out their pumpkins. It is just such a beautiful time of year! The colors amaze me along with the silly faces of these two boys! We also have been killing junipers in our front yard (it's a long process) but we now have a new tree in place of one of the monster junipers. It's little but has lots of potential and looks amazing as it's leaves start changing! I love the fall!

Goal!
It was Calvin's first soccer season! He did an awesome job and by the last game he was understanding everything so much better! He was moving the right way with the ball and even scored one goal! I will never forget his face when he turned to me with pride and smiled after scoring his goal. Seth tried to take pictures but we were both so excited they didn't turn out great! I love being a beginner soccer mom!

8 months later!
It's been a while but I thought I'd post a few pictures of our last eight months. We are completely unpacked and LOVING it here in our new house! We have now lived a year in the Tri-Cities! We have had a busy summer and enjoyed all the sun and HOT weather. We learned that pools are the way to survive 107 degree days. In June we did a 10 day road trip to Colorado and had lots of family fun in Breckenridge, Boulder and Colorado Springs. Many family and friend visits were to follow!

Not for the weak stomach...
There is just nothing like watching my boy's in pain. Last night I held my little boy (away from me and over the tub) as he threw up. His little eyes looked at me asking me to make it stop. It breaks my heart while at the same time I am chanting in my head "don't throw up". My stomach just isn't as strong as it used to be and I figure it's best to have only one of us throwing up. We are at home today and I am feeding us all very sparingly. It takes a full 24 hours to know we are all healthy. I learned this the hard way when I took Cal to Fred Meyer after a bought with the flu... he was not quite better yet and I watched him helplessly as he threw up half way through our shopping trip in the health food isle on me! I stood there surrounded by hazardous material signs paper toweling us off and listening to a gal argue with her co-worker about who was going to clean it up. I left the store. Funny story now, but I prefer to stay at home until all signs of vomiting are gone!
